Skiing on the sunny slopes of the Hohe Salve
At SkiWelt Hopfgarten, you can access SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental directly. Families can have their children looked after at the valley station while they ski themselves. At Foisching and Schernthanner, there are plenty of red pistes, a varied valley run, wide blue slopes and a training piste for ski clubs.
A real insider tip for early risers is the black run on the southern slope of the Hohe Salve - a perfect start to the day's skiing. The sunny valley is also ideal for winter hikes around the Salvenbahn cable car. Hopfgarten is a popular take-off and landing point for paragliders.

In the SkiWelt Hopfgarten, the black piste from the summit of the Hohe Salve and the sunny winter hiking trails around the middle station provide a variety of experiences on and off the piste. From the paragliding launch site on the Hohe Salve, you can watch spectacular flights or experience a tandem flight for yourself.

Ski lifts in Hopfgarten

In Hopfgarten, the Salvenbahn gondolas 1 and 2 take skiers and pedestrians comfortably up to the summit of the Hohe Salve. The "Schernthanner" chairlift with dome , the Foisching chairlift and the nostalgic "Rigi" and Hohe Salve 1 lifts also provide fun on the slopes. Beginners and children can practise their first turns in the practice area in the valley . Those who use the hidden Kasbichlbahn enjoy a quiet ascent to Rigi - ideal for relaxed uphill skiing away from the hustle and bustle

Slopes in Hopfgarten

The descent at the Salvenbahn is very wide, marked in red, but also suitable for beginners. With a length of 5.8 kilometres, it offers plenty of space and skiing fun. The descent at Schernthanner extends the Salvenbahn descent and provides additional fun on the piste. Wide blue slopes await at Foisching, ideal for carvers and beginners. The runs from the Hohe Salve are red or black and therefore more challenging, but offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

Arrival & mobility
You can reach Hopfgarten by car via the Inntal motorway (A12), exit Wörgl-Ost. If you are travelling by train, take the train to Hopfgarten, Kufstein, Wörgl or St. Johann - from there you can continue by bus or taxi.
