Step straight into the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - your winter adventure begins in Going: families and connoisseurs will find fine pistes and sunny slopes away from the hustle and bustle. Advanced skiers and carvers appreciate the varied Astberg piste with a wide, steep descent and exciting terrain transitions.
Beginners can use the easier valley run and practise their first turns on the Astberg magic carpet in the village centre or try out the fun area in the valley. A special highlight is the 4.5 km long toboggan run from Astberg to Going or Ellmau, which is also open in the evening.

Ski lifts in Going

The Astberg chairlift in Going is open to both skiers and pedestrians and provides easy access to the pistes and winter hiking trails. On the sunny side of the Astberg, the Sonnenlift takes you up in comfort. For beginners, there are the Maxilift and Magic Carpet beginner lifts in the valley - you can even use your own points card for these.

Slopes in Going

The Astberg piste is a valley run with red and blue variants. It is suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers. Carvers like the wide slopes of the Sonnenlift piste. Beginners learn to ski in the valley on the Maxilift and magic carpet.

- Single trips Going - pedestrian tickets for chairlift (Astberg), toboggan tickets
- Winter hiking pass - pedestrian ticket for all winter hiking lifts in the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental

Arrival & mobility
You can reach Going by car via the Inntal motorway (A12), exit Kufstein-Süd (toll-free) or Wörgl-Ost. If you are travelling by train, take the train to Hopfgarten, Kufstein, Wörgl or St. Johann - from there you can continue by bus or taxi.
