SkiWelt Westendorf
Sporty slopes, snowpark action and family pistes
Westendorf offers direct access to the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental and combines sporty descents, family-friendliness and freestyle offers. Wide carving pistes on the Talkaser, black run no. 112 on the Choralpe with a gradient of up to 80 %, the Boarders Playground Funpark and several family slopes form the core of the ski area.
With its summit, the Fleiding marks the highest point of the ski area (1,892 metres) and offers fantastic views and varied descents. From mid-February, early turns on freshly groomed pistes before the start of operations are also tempting. For sporty skiers, there is a video course where you can record and analyse your own carving technique. The KiWest cable car also provides a direct connection to Kirchberg and the KitzSki ski area - this is also where the KitzSkiWelt Tour starts, which connects both ski areas and impresses as the longest ski circuit in the world. There is a large practice area for children in the valley. Little freestylers can practise their first tricks at the "Mini Playground" in the valley.

Ski lifts in Westendorf

In Westendorf, the Alpenrosenbahn cable car takes skiers and pedestrians directly from the village centre to the high plateau on the Talkaser. From there, wide pistes lead to important lifts. These include the Choralmbahn, which leads to Brixen and to the viewpoint/photopint with the large lettering "Brixental" and the Fleiding chairlift to the highest point of the SkiWelt. The KiWest gondola takes you directly to Kirchberg. In the valley, the Sammer and Schneeberg beginners' lifts - here with a conveyor belt - open up short and easy runs. In the snow basin at the foot of the Gampenkogel, the Windauberg and Gampenkogel lifts offer additional fun in the sun on the slopes.
