Directions

After a comfortable ascent with the gondola lift to Brandstadl, it's off to the play area of the "KaiserWelt" Scheffau. After discovering the KaiserWald forest, the hike leads to the romantically situated Jochstub'nsee lake. The wide forest path towards the Brantlalm leads mostly downhill to the Filzalmsee lake in Hochbrixen. Kneipp stations such as the mud treading pool and wading ponds provide a shot of health and well-being. Next to the Filzalmsee lake, I experience a biotope with an insight peep box and nature discovery stations that reveal the underwater world.
