Information

A medieval custom that has a long tradition in Tyrol is the mountain fires (Johann fires), which are ignited at the summer solstice on the Wild Kaiser. Numerous associations and groups make their way each year to ignite their beacon fire that evening and celebrate the longest day of the year.
